Your card meets an opening charge as the subscription opens, then meets the next one a month on from that same date. Setting anything up costs nothing, no term gets imposed, and no package stands between you and whichever single line brought you here.
A machine added on the twelfth appears on the following charge. A machine taken away does the same. Half a month is never split into halves, which keeps the arithmetic on an invoice something you can verify yourself over a coffee.
Each jacket page closes with a flat account of what its lines refuse to do. Read that first. A line bought against the wrong expectation does more damage than a line never bought at all.
